Types of iqama In Saudi Arabia  

The term  Iqama generally refers to the residence permit that allows expatriates to live and work in the country. There aren’t different   types   of Iqama in the sense of distinct categories.

However there are different categories of residency permits based on the individual’s purpose of stay and employment status. The most common types include 

Employment Iqama

This is the most common type of Iqama  issue to expatriates who come to Saudi Arabia for employment purposes. It is linked to a specific employer and is usually valid for the duration of the employment contract.

Dependent Iqama   

This is issued to the dependents   spouses  children  etc.   of the primary visa holder. Dependents can live in Saudi Arabia under the sponsorship of the primary visa holder   usually the head of the family or the primary breadwinner  .

Green Card Premium Iqama 1

Investor Iqama

 Student Iqama
